In latest news from Dehradun, ahead of the commencement of the Char Dham Yatra, the Governor Lt Gen (Rtd) Gurmit Singh reviewed the preparations for the annual pilgrimage. Senior officers from tourism, health, transport and police departments were present at the meeting. Singh directed them to make a registered dashboard to file day- to- day report and feedbacks on the yatra.
He said that the Char Dham duty is not like normal duty limited to a few, fixed hours, but one which warrants complete dedication from all officers and employees. He further asked them to use artificial intelligence and drones to provide maximum facilities to the pilgrims.
