Harak made AICC observer for Odisha

In latest news from Doon, the Indian National Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has appointed the former minister and veteran leader Harak Singh Rawat AICC observer for Odisha for the general and assembly elections to be held simultaneously in the State. Two other senior leaders were also appointed AICC observers for Odisha- Meenakshi Natarajan and Pargat Singh. As per the AICC order released to the media, these three leaders would coordinate with the AICC In-charge, PCC and the in-charge secretaries in Odisha. Notably, Harak Singh Rawat skipped summons twice sent to him of Enforcement Directorate in connection with the illegal tree felling in Corbett National Park and land encroachment, citing his preoccupation with the Lok Sabha election preparations.
