In latest Uttarakhand news, a junior RTI assistant (information department) posted at the Haridwar district collectorate office in Roshnabad is suspected to have committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan of a room of the collectorate building. Personnel from SIIDCUL police station rushed to the site upon being informed and broke open the door to find his body hanging. The SIIDCUL police station in-charge Naresh Rathode informed that a suicide note had been found in the room in which the deceased held him responsible for his death. The body was sent for postmortem. The deceased was identified as 28-year-old Kamal Kumar, a native of Rawali Mahdood under the SIIDCUL police station limit. Police further informed that he had committed suicide after most of the staff members left office.
