Haridwar district police team led by SSP makes on- ground inspection of Kanwad Mela

In latest Uttarakhand news, as the Kanwad Mela is reaching its crescendo in terms of turnout, the Haridwar district police top brass led by the SSP Ajay Singh has made on the ground inspection of the arrangements on foot starting from Jatwara bridge on the National Highway.  During this inspection, the police team had the vehicles parked on the highway removed and urged the Kawadiyas to use the service lane for rest so as to avoid accidents. The SSP also directed the police personnel posted along the stretch of the highway to facilitate smooth flow of traffic and not to allow parking of cars along the road.
