In latest Uttarakhand news, police finally cracked the case of a child stealing case and reunited the six-month old baby named Abhijit with his parents. As per information received from police, the baby was stolen from Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar when he was sleeping with his parents in an open space. This was when a couple from Ghaziabad which had come to Haridwar on a trip allegedly stole the child. On being informed of the child being stolen, police started investigation, but it seemed to them to be a blind case with clues eluding them. However, given the sensitiveness of the case, SSP Ajay Singh constituted several teams to crack the case. Finally, success came their way as they thoroughly studied the CCTV footages and subsequently the child was recovered from Delhi’s Qutub Vihar area. SSP said that the couple had stolen the child as it is childless due to medical reasons.
