The police found a 13-year-old girl in Rishikesh who had allegedly gone missing from Haryana, after her parents scolded her for uploading videos on the social networking app Instagram. The police informed that the girl was found roaming around alone in the bus stand of Rishikesh late on Monday night by the police. On being asked about her whereabouts, the girl informed that she belongs to Yamunanagar in Haryana and after her parents scolded her for uploading videos on Instagram, she ran away from her home, boarded a bus for Rishikesh and arrived here, as per the police. Considering the gravity of the situation, the police immediately contacted the Yamunanagar police who confirmed that a missing report had been filed about a girl who had reportedly fled from home after her parents scolded her for uploading videos. On being informed about their daughter being found, the parents along with Haryana police thanked the local police and took her back on Tuesday.
