Have returned to serve public with renewed energy- CM
A day after resuming his official work at his residence in Delhi following his recovery from Covid-19, chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat returned to Dehradun on Wednesday.
After landing at the GTC helipad here, the CM said, “With the blessings of lord Badrivishal and lord Kedarnath, and the good wishes of all, I have fully recovered and returned with renewed energy to once again serve the public.” Expressing his gratitude to all doctors and paramedical staff, Rawat stressed on the need for following all the Covid guidelines like wearing a mask properly, maintaining social distancing and frequently washing hands. Cabinet minister Madan Kaushik, State minister Dhan Singh Rawat and Dehradun mayor Sunil Uniyal ‘Gama’ among others welcomed the CM at the helipad.
It will be recalled that the CM, his wife and daughter had tested positive for Covid on December 18. He was admitted first to the government Doon medical college hospital here on December 27 on experiencing fever and then shifted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi on the next day for tests and observation as he was suffering from minor infection in the lungs. He was discharged from AIIMS on January 2 after testing negative for Covid and returned to Dehradun after completing his period of isolation at his Delhi residence
