The headmaster of a primary school in Roorkee was suspended for beating students. The suspension action was taken after the guardians of the students demanded action from the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights and the education department. Thereafter a probe was held and the headmaster was found guilty. It is learnt that the guardians of the students of the government primary school in Sohalpur Gada under Roorkee block complained against the headmaster Md. Mahasin around three months ago.
