Health Excellence Award-2024 presented to SVIMS chairman

Noted academician and the chairman of the Shri Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences and Multispeciality Hospital, Sudhir Giri was presented the Health Excellence Award-2024 in recognition of his outstanding work in the realm of medical treatment and health services on Friday. At a function held at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Mansukh L Mandaviya felicitated Giri with the award. Lauding the work being done by him in providing free treatment and health services to the rural people from western Uttar Pradesh, Mandaviya said that robust health service for the rural people of the country is the keystone of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of developed India by 2047.
Addressing the gathering, Giri said that his institution will always be found at the forefront of materialising the lofty vision of the Prime Minister in its entirety. Among the dignitaries present on the occasion was the pro-chancellor of Meerut-based Shri Venkateshwara University Rajeev Tyagi.
