The woman whose husband Subham (27) had shot her in the head near Badasi Bridge on Thano Road in Dehradun is not yet able to talk to the police regarding her husband’s crime as her health is still critical. It has been 10 days since the woman was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition.
Though the doctors removed a bullet from her head, her condition is still unstable, the Dehradun senior superintendent of police Ajai Singh said. He stated that the accused who was also shot in the leg on Saturday has been sent to Suddhowala jail. Shubham claimed during interrogation that his wife knew about him murdering his father for property and he wanted to kill her to ensure she would not reveal it to anybody in the future. However, the police will be able to confirm the woman’s involvement in the crimes only after her health improves, Singh stated.
He also informed that the Dehradun police are sharing all the developments made in the case with the Haryana police who are investigating Shubham’s father’s murder case. This will help them to proceed in the case accordingly. Besides this, the SSP also said that sub inspector Mithun Kumar who was shot in the stomach by the accused is still under treatment in the hospital.
