After a respite from heavy rains in recent days, Dehradun and other districts of the State may witness rough weather on Monday. The State meteorological centre has issued a yellow warning (Be Updated) regarding the possibility of heavy rain/thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and intense to very intense spells of rain likely to occur at isolated places in Dehradun, Nainital and Champawat districts today. Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning/intense to very intense spells of rain are likely to occur at isolated places in Tehri, Pauri, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Almora and Udham Singh Nagar districts. Apart from this, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are likely to occur at few places in Haridwar, Uttarkashi, Tehri, Rudraprayag and Chamoli districts and at many places in the remaining districts.
Dehradun is forecast to witness a partly to generally cloudy sky. Few spells of light to moderate rain/thundershowers are likely to occur, out of which one or two spells may be intense/heavy in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 32 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today.
