Parts of five districts are likely to witness heavy rainfall today. The State meteorological centre has issued a yellow warning (watch) regarding the possibility of heavy rainfall likely to occur at isolated places in Dehradun, Pauri, Nainital, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar districts on Wednesday. Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and intense/very intense spells are also likely to occur at isolated places in the State today. Apart from this, light to moderate rain/thunderstorms are likely to occur at many places in the districts of the State today.
Dehradun is forecast to witness partly to generally cloudy skies. One or two spells of light to moderate rain / thunderstorms are likely to occur, which may be intense/heavy in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 34 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today.
