In latest news from Doon, heavy to very heavy rain is likely to lash a number of districts like Dehradun, Haridwar, Bageshwar and Nainital on June 30. Orange alert has been issued for these districts by the regional meteorological centre.
Besides, as per the forecast, several districts like Pithoragarh, Tehri, Uttarkashi, Pauri, US Nagar and Champawat are likely to experience intense to very intense rain spell accompanied by thunder and lightning on June 30. A yellow alert has been issued for these districts.
