The portals of Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara will be closed to the public on October 10. Due to Covid restrictions, the portals of this gurudwara were opened to the public late on September 18. Since then about 3,014 people have visited the shrine till now.
The vice chairman of Hemkund trust, Narendrajit Singh Bindra said that the portals of the shrine will be closed for the winter on October 10. He said that considering that that shrine was opened to the public on September 18, the duration of the pilgrimage could have been extended but considering the weather, the trust has decided to close the portals on October 10.
