HNB Garhwal University signs MoU with University of Canberra

The HNB Garhwal University signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Canberra, Australia, to enhance student exposure. As part of the MoU, the University of Canberra has opened applications for its students enrolled in bachelor of science, bachelor of biomedical science, bachelor of environmental science and bachelor of medical sciences to participate in the ‘science in the Himalayas study tour’ and earn three academic credit points in their respective degrees. As part of this programme, the students of the University of Canberra will attend science lectures and interactive sessions at the HNB Garhwal Central University in November 2024.

The HNB Garhwal University vice chancellor Annpurna Nautiyal expressed her happiness regarding the progress of the MoU and stated that this programme will enhance the exposure of the students of the Garhwal University, making them more aware of the current global study scenario. She added that HNB Garhwal University is consistently striving to achieve quantitative and qualitative improvements in research and to enhance the national rankings of the university.

Notably, the University of Canberra is ranked among the top 200 universities in the world and is one of Australia’s top 10 universities. It has consistently been improving its global rankings in recent years.
