In latest news from Doon, a brawl involving two groups of youths celebrating Holi in a restaurant in the Badam Wala area of Vikash Nagar ended up in the eatery being set on fire. Police said that as the altercation was becoming violent, the restaurant owner had called them up. The youths left the restaurant before police arrived. Police came and shut the restaurant. A little after the police team left, about 30 youths returned and set the restaurant ablaze.
The restaurant owner said that he had incurred a loss of Rs 15 lakh due to the arson.
