In latest Dehradun news, a honey-trapped army jawan has reportedly lost all his life’s savings and two plots in Dehradun as he was being fleeced allegedly by the girl he had befriended through a matrimonial website. As these things happened when he was posted in Meerut, he lodged a complaint at Meerut police station. As per the complaint, the relation between the girl and the jawan became more intimate with time and she allegedly clicked some photos of the jawan in compromising position. And thereafter, she started blackmailing him with the threat that unless he satisfied her demand for money she would circulate his vulgar photos on social media platforms and subsequently, he would lose his job. SSP Meerut who received the complaint said that he was a lance naik hailing from Dehradun, adding that he had been fleeced of about Rs 20 lakhs and in addition, he had to transfer two plots of land he had purchased in Dehradun in her name as per his complaint. In a fit of desperation, he married her but the extortion spree did not stop. The SSP Meerut said that the jawan had requested police to free him from her clutches and added that police have started investigation into the matter.
