Honorary consul general of Grenada discusses setting up ultramodern medical city

The honorary consul general of Grenada in India and the president of the Apex Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kapil Chopra arranged a high level meeting in Delhi to discuss the development of an ultramodern medical city in Grenada. Chopra organised the meeting to explore opportunities in healthcare collaboration between India and Grenada. The meeting was presided over by Philip A Telesford, Minister for Health, Grenada, along with Kanesha Commodore, Foreign Service Officer, Grenada.
The event was attended by prominent leaders from Delhi-NCR’s healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, who engaged in detailed discussions on the Grenada government’s ambitious plan to develop a state-of-the-art medical city. This ultra-modern facility aims to enhance medical services in Grenada while positioning the country as a key destination for medical tourism. Healthcare industry leaders and members of Apex Chamber of Commerce and Industry expressed keen interest and commitment to collaborating on the project, recognising its potential for mutual growth and advancement in global healthcare standards. The discussions focused on technology transfer, investment opportunities and strategic partnerships to ensure the medical city becomes a world-class healthcare hub.
The meeting marks a significant step in strengthening Indo-Grenadian relations in the medical sector and paves the way for transformative healthcare initiatives in the Caribbean region.
