The horse operators resumed their trade on Wednesday with horse operation remaining suspended from August 6 following the landslide on the Tiffin Top hill in Nainital. Over 100 tourists reached the place on horse the same day.
The district administration officers said they had allowed horse movement from Barapathar to Land’s End in the landslide prone area on receiving permission from the forest department. Notably, about 100 people became unemployed after the administration stalled horse operation.
