The office bearers of Nainital Hotel and Restaurant Association while performing their social responsibilities presented a cheque to a woman living in Nainital for her treatment at AIIMS. They said that they had come forward with assistance with the woman being unable to afford the treatment which was to cost more than Rs 2 lakhs. The general secretary of the association Ved Shah said that the woman has been suffering from a spine-related ailment.
