Chief of the Air Staff, air chief marshal VR Chaudhari offered prayers to Lord Narsinh at Joshimath on Friday. He was accompanied by his family members and senior officials of the Indian Air Force. The IAF chief arrived at the army helipad here and visited the Narsinh temple at 4:30 PM. The Joshimath sub divisional magistrate and Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee deputy CEO Kumkum Joshi received him at the temple. The air chief marshal participated in a special puja of Lord Narsinh at the temple. Joshi presented the Prasad of the temple to the IAF chief on behalf of the BKTC. The BKTC media in-charge Harish Gaur informed that the air chief marshal also paid obeisance at the nearby Durga Mandir, Shri Timundiya Veer Mandir and the Adi Guru Shankaracharya’s seat.
