ICAR-IISWC officer wins a prestigious contest

The technical officer, ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Dehradun Deepak Kaul has been elected secretary (Staff Side), CJSC, JCM of ICAR, New Delhi for the consecutive third term.  Two candidates, including Kaul, had filed their nomination for the post.  A total of 108 CJSC members from different ICAR Institutes cast their votes to elect the secretary, CJSC.  The result of the election was announced late Monday evening. Kaul got 77 out of 95 valid votes cast. He defeated the assistant administrative officer, ATARI-VII, Umiam, Meghalaya, Ramchandra Pradhan.  

The senior office bearers of ICAR-IISWC, Dehradun said that it was a matter of pride for the institute as well as Uttarakhand.  Kaul will hold this post for three years.
