PNS/ DEHRADUN
The Hindi e-magazine ‘Buransh’ published by the ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation (ICAR-IISWC), Dehradun, received the third prize in the category of ‘Outstanding Published Hindi In-house Magazine (2023-24 )’ during the half-yearly meeting of the Nagar Rajbhasha Karyanvayan Samiti (NARAKAS) (Office-2) recently held in Dehradun. This recognition was granted for the magazine’s excellence among 72 member offices of NARAKAS (Office-2).
The award was received on behalf of the institute by the head of PME and KM Unit, M Muruganandam and the deputy director (Official Language), IISWC. Ashutosh Kumar Tiwari. As part of the programme, six winners of essay competitions on natural resource management, organised earlier by ICAR-IISWC, were felicitated.
