The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, is going to conduct its 21st annual convocation virtually on September 11.
Chancellor of the University of California, San Diego Pradeep K Khosla will be the chief guest while the institute’s board of governor’s chairman BVR Mohan Reddy will be presiding over the function. A total of 1,804 degrees will be awarded this year including 912 undergraduate, 685 post graduate and 207 doctorate degrees.
The institute director AK Chaturvedi said, “We exhort the graduating students to dedicate themselves to the profession they choose and to the society. We are happy to award degrees to 1,804 students this year.”
