A Mountain Terrain Bike (MTB) hike was recently organised by Indian Military Academy (IMA) Dehradun as part of as part of the midterm break activities for the Gentlemen Cadets (GC). A communiqué from the IMA says, ‘The spirit of adventure remains at the core of military training at IMA.
A team comprising 48 Gentlemen Cadets and three Officers of the academy covered a distance of about 450 km over seven days before returning to Academy. The GCs traversed places like Nagthat, Lakhamandal, Andie village and Moriyana Top. The hike provided an exposure to Gentlemen Cadets to local places of cultural and historical heritage value as well as an opportunity to interact with local citizens.
