A meeting to review various national schemes being executed under the National Health Mission was held here on Monday under the chairmanship of the district’s chief development officer Abhishek Tripathi. He directed the health department officials concerned to ensure 100 per cent institutional delivery in the district. Further, instructions were given to meet all the requirements at the earliest under the Kayakalp programme in all the Ayushman Arogya centres across the district. All the medical officers in-charge were directed to have gardening started in all the medical units under the Kayakalp programme.
CMO Dr Shyam Vijay said that the number of institutional deliveries had increased as compared to last year in the district.
