In latest news from Doon, soon after the lifting of the model code conduct (MCC), the State government has resumed transfers with the Public Works Department (PWD) where as many as 108 officers were transferred. A few of the transferred officers are the assistant engineer Rajendra Kumar from Ranikhet to Haldwani, the in-charge assistant engineer Punita Rani from Almora to Haldwani, assistant engineer Lalit Tiwari from Almora to Haldwani and Sanjeev Kumar, the in-charge assistant engineer from Gopeshwar to Dehradun. The State administration sources said that transfers in other department would happen soon.
