While chasing a tiny total of 51 runs against Sri Lanka, India secured its 8th Asia Cup win in a stress- free final. Fast bowler Mohammed Siraj’s dream spell ripped into Sri Lanka’s batting line-up with mesmerizing figure of 6 for 21 off 7 overs in Colombo. Earlier, Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka won the toss and decided to bat. Then was unleashed the scorching spell of Siraj. Five of the Sri Lanka’s batters were dismissed for a Duck. India reached their target in just 6.1 overs, registering a 10-wicket win.
