Indian Army inks MoU with IIT Roorkee

The Indian Army and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee signed a memorandum of understanding on Friday. The MoU will help in promoting technology, innovative solutions and joint research and development.
The MoU was signed by the General Officer Commanding (GoC), Garud Division, Major General Sandeep Jaswal on behalf of the India Army and the director of IIT Roorkee KK Pant in presence of faculty members and army officers.
A communiqué from the Army said, “The collaboration exemplifies the synergy between academia and the defence sector in driving technological innovation and bolstering National Security. It embodies the spirit of collaboration, excellence, and innovation essential for the Indian Army’s technological advancement for future conflicts.’’
