India’s Moon Mission successful

Wednesday, 23 August 2023 | PNS | DEHRADUN

Fulfilling India’s lunar aspiration, Chandrayaan-3’s Lander Module (Vikram) and the Rover (Pragyan) have made a successful touchdown in the south polar region of the moon at 6.03 pm on Wednesday, ISRO scientists informed. The monumental moon mission being successful, India has become the first and the only country globally to land in the hitherto unexplored south pole of the moon and the fourth country in the world, after China, the USA and the erstwhile Soviet Union, to land on the surface of the moon. “India’s successful Moon mission is not just India’s alone…This success belongs to all of humanity,” says PM Modi on Chandrayaan-3 mission success.
