In latest news from Doon, to ensure teachers’ presence in government schools, the State’s secondary education department has issued directives to the education department officers to provide information about the present condition of the biometric machines in the government schools. Besides, it was also asked whether the attendance details of teaching, non-teaching employees and principals can be linked to the treasury for their salary clearance.
As per the directives issued by departmental head Mahaveer Singh Bisht, the technology would digitise information about principals, teachers and employees twice day-when they enter and when they exit from their schools.
