The initiation and upanayan ceremony of the students selected for the session 2024-25 at Patanjali Ayurved College was held in Patanjali Yogpeeth here on Saturday. While addressing the newly admitted students, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev urged them to make service the sole mission of their life when they would become doctors. While calling Patanjali Ayurved College as one of the best colleges not only in Uttarakhand but the country, he said that the students must embody the mission this institute had been established for. In his address, Acharya Balkrishna exhorted the students to maintain celibacy and forgo creature comforts on way to a noble life, adding that they must become the torch-bearers of the noble science of ayurveda.
