Amid growing concerns over fire incidents caused by electrical faults, INTER TECH Earthing Experts has reinforced the importance of robust electrical safety systems at Bharat Buildcon 2026, being held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, from June 18 to 21.
The company is showcasing its advanced “50 Saal Chalne Wali Earthing” solutions, designed to provide long-term protection against electrical hazards in residential, commercial, healthcare and industrial infrastructure.
The initiative comes in the wake of recent fire tragedies in Delhi, including the Hauz Rani fire that claimed 22 lives and another incident at the residence of former IAS officer Dhanendra Kumar, where faulty wiring is suspected to have caused the blaze. These incidents have once again highlighted the risks associated with inadequate electrical safety systems.
According to INTER TECH, earthing systems are often overlooked during construction despite being a critical component of building safety. Faulty or under-engineered earthing can prevent the safe dissipation of fault currents, increasing the risk of electrical fires, especially during peak summer months and monsoon seasons.
Led by chief executive officer Gurmohit Singh, the company is promoting solutions that offer up to 50 years of conductivity, corrosion-resistant materials, maintenance-free performance and compliance with national and international safety standards. The systems are tailored for a wide range of applications, including residential towers, hospitals, data centres and industrial facilities.
Addressing stakeholders at the expo, Singh urged architects, developers, consultants and contractors to prioritise advanced grounding systems in infrastructure projects.
“Infrastructure should be built to last and built to be safe. By standardising advanced earthing materials that guarantee reliability for half a century, we can significantly reduce the risk of electrical fires and improve long-term public safety,” he said.
INTER TECH is exhibiting its earthing solutions at the NPC Pavilion, where it is engaging with industry professionals on the role of electrical safety in modern infrastructure development.
