The International Hardware Hackathon HARD-WAR 3.0 organised by the UPES School of Computer Science (SoCS) concluded at the university. This year’s theme, ‘IoTvity,’ emphasised the integration of IoT (Internet of Things) with various domains, challenging participants to showcase their skills and creativity, they added.
The hackathon was divided into three phases which began on July 1 and concluded on September 23 at UPES. Prizes were awarded to the top three teams. Commenting on the event, UPES School of Computer Science dean Vijaysekhar Chellaboina said, “The event not only showcased the technical skills of the students but also their ability to work as a team under pressure – attributes that are essential for the leaders of tomorrow.”
