In latest news from Uttarakhand, the seven-day International Yoga Festival (IYF) at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh attended by 1500 international guests from over 75 countries, ascetics, spiritual masters, yoga teachers and internationally renowned musicians concluded. Beginning with the Maha Shivratri celebration, it featured wellness session, environment awareness session, living yoga session, Ayurveda session and world peace session among others. The festival’s sixth day featured a special meditation and visit to the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram, also known as the Beatles Ashram. The Sacred Sound Stage featured a line-up of kirtan, mantra and sound artists, including international names like Sivamani, Kailash Kher and Daphne Tse. Besides, the participants celebrated a special, eco-friendly, green, yogic Holi.
