International Young Researchers’ Conclave-2026 concludes at UPES

The three day long fourth 4th International Young Researchers’ Conclave (IYRC)- 2026 concluded at UPES campus on Saturday. The conclave was organised under joint aegis of the Research and Development division of UPES and Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation (CDRI).
The conclave brought together participants from varied scientific, academic and professional backgrounds on a common platform to exchange ideas, present research and explore pathways for translating innovation into real-world impact.
Undergraduate and postgraduate students, research scholars, faculty members, academicians, researchers, industry professionals and practitioners, entrepreneurs and corporate groups participated in the conclave.
“Over three days, participants engaged across a broad range of themes including healthcare and AI, advanced technologies, design and creativity, energy and environment and general management and law, reflecting the growing importance of interdisciplinary thinking in addressing present and emerging challenges. The conclave also highlighted the value of collaborative opportunities across institutions, stronger industry-academia partnerships and access to funding channels that can support promising research and development initiatives,’’ a communique from the UPES claimed.
Speaking on the successful conclusion of the conclave, the vice chancellor of UPES, Sunil Rai said, “At UPES, we believe that research must move beyond publication and enter the space of application, collaboration and societal relevance. IYRC-2026 reflects that belief by bringing young researchers, faculty, industry and institutions into one shared conversation. It is encouraging to see such energy, curiosity and cross-disciplinary thinking, which will play an important role in shaping solutions for the future.”
