The Uttarakhand unit of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has criticised the plans of the State government to hold a global investors summit in the State. The media in-charge (Garhwal) of the party Ravindra Singh Anand said that the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is talking about holding an investors summit in the State.
Anand said that a similar summit was organised when Trivendra Singh Rawat was the CM of the State. He said that a huge sum of money was spent by the State government to organise the summit but not even a single paisa of investment was made in the State. The AAP leader said that it appears that Dhami is finding it tough to continue on the post of the CM of the State and is now desperate to polish his image. He claimed that the investor summit is nothing but an image building exercise of the CM at the cost of State exchequer.
