The chairman of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Shrikant Madhav Vaidya felicitated the families of Operation Vijay martyrs at a function here on Tuesday. He met and interacted with the families of Kargil war heroes, who have been awarded petrol pumps and LPG distributorships in Uttrakhand and UP West under Uttar Pradesh State Office -II by Indian Oil as a tribute to the martyrhood of the soldiers, in the presence of Major General Sanjeev Khatri, GOC Sub Area Dehradun.
Vaidya lauded the sacrifice of the Indian armed forces during the Kargil war and also highlighted the efforts of Indian Oil in providing rehabilitation to the families of martyrs. In his address to the gathering Major General Sanjeev Khatri appreciated the efforts of Indian Oil during the Kargil war and for supporting the families of the martyrs.
Vaidya also presented the new age composite LPG cylinders to ex-servicemen on the occasion.
