IPSC Taekwondo championship concludes at Bal Vidya Mandir

The two-day IPSC Taekwondo Championship, held at Birla Vidya Mandir concluded on Wednesday. Athletes from 11 reputable schools across eight states showcased their talent, technical prowess and fighting spirit during the national competition.
The competition featured matches in the Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 age groups. On the final day, the host Birla Vidya Mandir displayed good performance, maintaining its dominance in all the groups and bringing home the overall championship trophy with 24 gold, four silver and three bronze medals.
The chief guest at the closing ceremony was the school’s principal, Anil Kumar Sharma. In his address, he said, “Sports are not just about winning and losing; they are a powerful tool for developing discipline, leadership, self-confidence, and personality.” He commended all participants for their performance and wished them a bright future.
The winners and runners-up were presented with medals, trophies and certificates at the closing ceremony.
