In recognition of its innovative works in the field of water resources and river-related projects and other works in the past five years, Irrigation Research Institute (IRI) Roorkee has received the CBIP Award for Best R & D Contribution in Water Resources Sector for 2022.
The Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP) is a premier agency of the Government of India in the field of water resources. The award was presented by Union Minister of Power, New and Renewable Energy RK Singh to IRI principal engineer Jaspal Singh and superintending engineer SK Saha at a function in New Delhi recently.
