ISRO’s space docking experiment: Spacecraft placed into right orbit

Two spacecraft envisaged to aid ISRO in demonstrating space docking- deemed to be a technology for future space missions- got successfully separated and were placed into the desired orbit late Monday, informed India Space Research Organisation (ISRO).  “PSLV C60 mission accomplished as of SpaDeX spacecraft is considered,” said an elated Mission Director M Jayakumar. Expressing deep satisfaction over the achievement, the ISRO chief S Somanath said that the rocket has placed the satellites in the right orbit of 475 km circular orbit after a flight of over 15 minutes.
