For the successful conduct of the Urban Local Body election slated on January 23, the first randomisation of the poll personnel was done on Saturday in the presence of the district magistrate Tehri Garhwal Mayur Dixit in New Tehri.
DM inspected the ballot boxes and directed the staff assigned with the polling duty to ensure free and fair poll. They should visit the polling booths and design the information placards to be placed at the booths, he said. Among the senior officers present on the occasion were the chief development officer, Abhishek Tripathi and additional district magistrate A K Pandey.
