Jageshwar to be developed under Manas Mandir Mala project- Dhami

The Jageshwar temple complex in Almora district will be developed under the Manas Mandir Mala scheme. Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said this after inaugurating the Shravani Mela at Jageshwar and offering prayers at the shrine. He also inaugurated and unveiled the foundation stones of various development schemes amounting to Rs 12.35 crore for the Jageshwar Assembly constituency. These include works worth Rs 77.31 lakh which were inaugurated and works worth Rs 11.58 crore for which the foundation stones were unveiled.
Speaking on the occasion, Dhami said that Uttarakhand is consistently progressing under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will be one of the best States of India in 2025 when it completes 25 years of its foundation. He said that projects worth Rs 1.25 lakh crore had been approved during the past five years by the Central government. The chief minister also spoke about the achievements of the Atal Ayushman Yojana, Atal Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana and other schemes. He further said that Uttarakhand will be the first Indian State to implement the Uniform Civil Code. The five-member committee constituted to prepare a draft of the code has started its work, he said. Dhami also spoke about various decisions taken by the State government in keeping with its aim of simplification, solution and redressal. Health and Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat who is also the minister in-charge of the district said that 100 per cent teachers will be posted in the next one month in the district. For the first time, adequate number of doctors has been posted in the district, he added.The local MLA Mohan Singh Mehra and others were also present on the occasion.
