The Congress MLA from Jhabreda Virendra Jati created a flutter at the entrance of Uttarakhand Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday when he unloaded a tractor trolley full of sugarcane at the Vidhan Sabha gate in the morning. This act of his created a panic and the security personnel rushed to remove the pile of sugarcane and trolley from the site. Jati said that he was forced to commit the act to register his protest on delay in payments of sugarcane farmers. He claimed that the Iqbalpur Sugar Mill owes a sum of Rs 110 crore to the sugarcane farmers.
