In latest news from Uttarakhand, service of a junior engineer working under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme in the development block Kirti Nagar was terminated for indulging repeatedly in financial fraud. According to the Tehri district administration sources, when he was given an opportunity to explain his position he accepted the irregularity.
Following this, the district magistrate Mayur Dixit terminated his service. The DM made it clear that such unethical activity would not be tolerated and strict action would be taken as per rules if the matter comes to notice at any level.
