Joshi made in-charge of PM’s proposed Pithoragarh visit

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the BJP has appointed in-charge and coordinator for the Prime Minister’s upcoming Pithoragarh district visit and his proposed public meeting. On the direction of the State party president Mahendra Bhatt, the party is now giving the final touches to the PM’s proposed Pithoragarh visit, slated on October 12. Notably, Bhatt had made the State cabinet minister Ganesh Joshi the in-charge of the PM’s proposed Pithoragarh visit and his possible public meeting. Joshi would oversee things since the time of PM’s arrival to the completion of his proposed Pithoragarh trip. Besides, the former State cabinet minister and the former State BJP vice-president Balwant Singh Bhauryal has been made the coordinator of the PM’s programmes in the State.
Bhatt said that Narendra Modi has not just visited this State for a record number of times as the Prime Minister but also proved instrumental in clearing record number of projects for accelerating the development pace of the State. He said that development projects worth Rs 2. 5 lakh crore are being implemented in a tiny State like Uttarakhand. Besides, the State is seeing unprecedented development in road, rail and air travel facilities thanks to his initiatives, Bhatt said and added that his likely visit would give another impetus to the State’s development.
