They said that the police have also found a suicide note from the spot in which Kumar has held himself responsible for his death. The officials said that as per the information gathered so far, Kumar was working as a junior assistant in the RTI section who had got this job as a dependent of a deceased. According to his colleagues, most of the staff had left the office on Monday evening while some employees allegedly stayed in the office, said the officials. They informed that Kumar suddenly locked himself inside a room. When the employees there noticed, they knocked on the door and asked him consistently to open the door but he did not respond as per their claims, said the officials. They said that they contacted the police after they failed to get any response from Kumar. After receiving the information, a police team reached the spot and broke the door of the room but found Kumar hanging from the ceiling fan. The officials said that the police sent the body for post-mortem after carrying out Panchnama. They said that no concrete evidence was found except the suicide note. Police said they are investigating the case to find out whether the deceased committed suicide and why. The police will be clearer about Kumar’s death after getting the postmortem report and the case will be investigated accordingly, added officials.
