Shashi Shalini Kajur, a 1996 Indian Postal Service batch officer, assumed charge as the chief postmaster general of Uttarakhand on Thursday. Prior to this assignment, she was the postmaster general, south Bengal region, West Bengal.
While chairing her maiden meeting with the senior postal officers in Dehradun, she urged them to work tirelessly to meet the target set by the Postal Directorate and to take postal service to the people across the State. Further, she said she was fortunate to get the opportunity to work in the State known as Dev Bhoomi.
