The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara has expressed gratitude to Congress leader and leader of opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi for the greetings he has sent to the State unit of the party for registering victories in the recent by- elections of Badrinath and Manglaur Assembly constituencies.
He said that the Congress leaders and workers posed a united front in these bypolls as per the wish of Rahul Gandhi and registered victories. Terming Rahul Gandhi as an ideal leader for the Congress party workers, Mahara said that his ideas and policies are a source of inspiration.
He said that Gandhi is effectively raising the voice of farmers, labourers, Agniveers, and unemployed from the parliament to the road. Mahara expressed confidence that the Congress party will fulfill its responsibility of the strong opposition and will register emphatic victory in the elections of 2027.
