Karnprayag MLA Negi airlifted to hospital
The BJP MLA from Karnprayag assembly constituency Surendra Singh Negi was rushed to the Himalayan hospital Jollygrant after he complained of uneasiness and high blood pressure. He was airlifted from Gairsain in an air ambulance to the hospital on Tuesday evening.
The doctors treating him said that the condition of the leader is stable and he is admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital. The senior neuro-physician of the hospital, Dr Manish Mittal said that the MRI of Negi was conducted and other tests are being done.
The chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat met the ailing MLA in the hospital immediately after his return from Delhi and wished him a speedy recovery.
